How does the COUNSELMEDS program work?
Within 48 hours of the referral, patients receive a call from a licensed pharmacist for an initial intervention, followed by 29 days of medication management and care coordination services from an AI-powered phone agent.
Do I need an app or internet access to use COUNSELMEDS?
No. Our phone-based care and coordination of home medication delivery makes it easy for low-income and older adults to access support and stay connected to care — no apps, no internet, just a phone.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We are closed on Sunday.
Do you deliver medications?
Yes. We partner with GreaterHealth Pharmacy & Wellness, which offers free home delivery services for all of its patients.
What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept Aetna, Medicaid, Humana, CVS Caremark, UnitedHealthCare, Anthem BlueCross BlueShield, Express Scripts, Essence, Medicare, and Cigna.
How do I refill a prescription?
Use our online refill portal or call us at 314-877-8773 and our team will handle it for you.
How do I transfer a prescription to COUNSELMEDS?
Call us at 314-877-8773. We coordinate the transfer directly with your current pharmacy — no forms needed on this site.

We are at 5503 Delmar Blvd, Ste B, St. Louis, MO 63112, serving the community of St. Louis.
Who does COUNSELMEDS serve?
We serve high-risk patients managing chronic conditions such as HIV/AIDS, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, asthma, mental health, alcohol/drug use, substance abuse, high blood pressure, and diet and weight loss. We also partner with Federally Qualified Health Centers, hospital systems, primary care organizations, home health care organizations, and payors.
How much telemedicine support does each patient receive?
Each patient receives one hour of monthly telemedicine support, as medically necessary, with ongoing telephonic support that includes 2-way text/call access and weekly check-ins to assess clinical needs.
